Marco Bonnici has been re-elected as president of the Malta Union of Teachers while Elaine Germani has been elected as the new Senior Vice President, the union said in a brief statement on Thursday evening.
The election process conducted by Erremme Business Advisory Limited to elect the President, Senior Vice President, MUT Council and other sections is now concluded.
The union said that the full composition of the new Council will be issued in due course.
The MUT congratulated the elected members and thanked all candidates and members for their continued support. The MUT also thanked the outgoing council, particularly outgoing Senior Vice President Norman Grech who is retiring.
